God has been preparing my family and I for training and equipping all those who need to hear to Gospel. Mark 5:19 says "Go home to your friends and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you and how He had compassion on you".

So on April 13th, 2010 my family and I will be returning to Trinidad to do what God has commanded us to do. We have been living in the United States for 23 years and have lived in several states including NY, NJ, PA and for the past 10 years we have been in VA.

We have many wonderful friends whom we Love dearly, but now we must go and share the love of Christ with those in Trinidad and wherever God guides us. God has done many wonderful works in all our lives but now he is guiding our entire family back to Trinidad, including our sons Adrian, Jonathan and Brandon.

Pray with us:

  • For them to be young men after God's heart who hunger and thirst for His word

  • For wisdom and guidance as we share the Gospel

  • For safety and protection as we travel throughout the Island

  • For provision for my family and I

Thank you to our church family Calvary Chapel Williamsburg, for their continued prayer and support.

Hindus and Muslims in Trinidad

The island of Trinidad and Tobago has always been an island of many religions and cultures. In today's day and age though the island is populated by two religions, Islam and Hinduism. This started with the arrival of thousands of indentured servants from India that worked on the sugar plantations. Today, more than 500,000 Hindus and Muslims live in Trinidad and Tobago. Many Hindu Temples and Muslim Mosques are in the villages and cities on the island. The call of prayer sounds across the towns, summoning the faithful to pray. These lost souls follow pagan beliefs in gods that aren't real, and are unaware of the true and living God that truly loves them. The people of the island are thirsting for love and compassion, and the only way they can find that is through Jesus Christ.
*Pray with me that the people of Trinidad and Tobago will submit to Christ and that God will reveal himself to the people
*For boldness in sharing the gospel message to the people
*For my faith to be strengthened daily

1 John 3:16
By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for His brethren.

A Journey in Faith

Wow.... March 2010!
I pray that you will stay focused on Jesus and that the Lord will lead you in His strength and perseverance. I pray that He will give you wisdom, patience, joy, and above all love, and that He will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, binding you together in unity!
Lots of love,
Sarah--- On Thu, 9/3/09, FRANCIS CELESTINE A journey of faith. God has prepared our's heart to be faithful to his calling to go and preach the gospel. Our journey in faith started in May of 2009 when I had the opportunity to go to Trinidad and Guyana with our Pastor, his wife and eight others. The trip was very fruitful in which many lives were touched by His word including the baptism of my wife's aunt. My family and I returned from Trinidad on May 17 to prepare for 6 weeks of Missionary Training School in Norco, California. There were some problems to deal with as Satan attacked my family to try to prevent us from going, but Christ gave us strength through it all and allowed us to go. Proverbs 3:56 says "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your path". Our journey to California started on July 1st driving from Virginia. The trip took us 5 days and over 2,700 miles through states such as TN, AR, OK, NM, TX, AZ, and NV. When we arrive in California, we were greeted by our wonderful host family, Gabe and Mercedez, who housed us for 6 weeks. Our 6 week training led us through topics such as the book of Acts, Inductive Bible Study, Witnessing, The Great Commission, Docturinal Studies, Student Chapel, Scripture Memorization, Judaism, Hinduism, Islam, Public Devotional Speaking, Children's Ministry, and lots more! Every week we also had to read a book to keep us encouraged in the faith. We travel to many places to witness including a Convalesant home, Hollywood, Newport Beach, and Mexico. During our trip I had the honor of reuniting with my Godmother's children ,Stanley, Vernon, and Annmarie, who I have not seen in over 40 years. The time I spent with them was amazing which included dinner with them, but it was sad to learn that my Godmother had died 2 years earlier. We promised to keep in touch and left them with joy in our hearts. God revealed himself in many ways on this trip including our trip to Mexico. My family didnt have enough for all of us to go but God provided the funds so that we were all able to go, God is truly good! God also showed his power when one of the students from the Missionary Training School didnt have a passport or the money to pay for the ticket. Through His grace and mercy he provided both and she was able to go too. Through this whole journey, we were able to see the work of the Holy Spirit through the people who accepted Christ while we were there. God truly kept us through this journey in faith.

Please Pray With Us

1) Pray for My family and I as the Lord has laid the date of March 2010 to go back to Trinidad
2) For Spiritual streng and Perseverance in challenging times
3) That My family and I will keep our eyes focused on Jesus
